My First "Email travel tips list" was a combination of recommendations I cobbled together when I had first moved to Italy (as an adult). It was a list of places from Italian friends,  A Roman ex-boyfriend, my old Naeopolitan boss (total foodie), other friends who shared appreciation for the good life ("People like us"), a few obsessed winos and Me!

Places I discovered or experienced and didn't want to forget. Places or people had encountered that I wanted my friends to share.

I passed this first list on to a friend (who loved the tips) who passed it on to another, and then I soon was getting requests from all over the world and from total randoms.... It became a bit of an in- joke amongst friends whether a place could be considered PLU (People like Us) worthy.

So now, I have just started to write these places down and to share them with you! Not just a fabulous trip down memory lane reliving and recording, but a reminder of the most incredible places and people that share a sense of the good life. Enjoy.
